The 2023 Pokémon World Championships is the capstone event of the 2023 Championship Series season, and players from all around the world will be battling for the title of World Champion. Main events at the Pokémon World Championships are by invitation only. Spectators with badges can enjoy many activities inside the exhibition hall including playing side events, meeting Pikachu, watching the matches on the main stage, and more!
The 2023 Pokémon World Championships will take place at the PACIFICO Yokohama Convention Center in Yokohama, Japan, from Friday, August 11, 2023, through Sunday, August 13, 2023.
Event location:
Please note, the temperature in Yokohama during the Pokémon World Championships is expected to be very hot, including inside the convention center and neighboring buildings. Make sure to dress appropriately for the weather and to stay hydrated. If you believe you are experiencing heat-related health issues, please call Japan Emergency Medical Services by dialing 119.
You can have a great time at the Pokémon World Championships even if you aren't competing in the main event by attending as a spectator. Come see all the battles in person and participate in side events throughout the three-day event.
Entry to this event will require a badge for all attendees—both competitors and spectators.
